Some time ago. Arsenal transfer rumours has a link with Watford captain Troy Deeney. It’s said that Troy Deeney has been linked with a shock £20m move to Premier league leaders Arsenal. The 27-year-old has been in fine form this season, scoring six goals in his last 11 league games.

Deeney has been in excellent form for the Hornets and has formed a formidable partnership with Odion Ighalo, with the pair plundering 20 Premier League goals between them this season.

However. From the recently news, it’s said that Deeney will play down Arsenal links and staty put in Watford finally. As well as his teammate Odion Oghalo. Deeney insists that he has a ‘project to complete’ in Warford and he wont leaving this month.

"We have still got a project to complete, he told talkSPORT

"It is very flattering. My son is an Arsenal fan so he read it in the paper the other day and I don’t think he is happy that I am staying at Watford.

"He doesn’t understand that it is not FIFA and you can’t change the same day!

“But we have got a project to complete and the gaffer has stated before that whatever happens in the summer, will happen in the summer."

Deeney's strike partner Odion Ighalo has also been linked with a move, and admitted he would find it difficult to say no to Manchester United if they came calling. But Deeney ensures that Ighalo wont leave either.

“He isn’t going to leave in January. The manager and the owner have made that clear.

“I have just seen him at the school run and he is in no rush to get anyway time soon.”
