The leaks of player ratings from FIFA 17 Closed Beta cause more excitement for the release of FIFA 17. The ratings prompt much debate among fans, who are either ecstatic or wish their players would receive a bump. 

The release of FIFA 17 is just around the corner and Premier League fans are extremely excited to see their players’ new ratings. It’s always fun to see how EA Sports have evaluated the biggest stars in the game, so we picked up the Top 10 Premier League Players in FIFA 17 according the pictures with player ratings appearing on social media.

10. Peter Ceth (Arsenal) - 87

Arsenal’s last line of defence joins Ozil in the top 10. Aged 34, he’s actually up on his rating in FIFA 16, which was 85. Cech will probably have to play like a 90-rated goalkeeper if the Gunners are to have a chance of winning the Premier League.

9. Paul Pogba (Manchester United) - 87

The world’s most expensive player in history finds himself in the high 80’s on FIFA 17. His rating could definitely receive a boost before the game’s release as he settles into life back in Manchester.

8. David Silva (Manchester City) - 87

His rating is down from last year’s 88 but you’re still doing well if you have the Spaniard in your Ultimate Team.

7. Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City) - 88

The Manchester City winger enjoyed a fine debut season at the Etihad, helping fire the Citizens to the Champions League semi-final. With Pep Guardiola now on board, the hope is for the Belgian to take it to another level this season.

6. Mesut Ozil (Arsenal) - 88

Arsenal’s magician joins De Bruyne with a rating of 88. Just imagine how good the German would be if he played with Sergio Aguero, instead of Olivier Giroud…

5. Sergio Aguero (Manchester City) - 89

It was always going to be interesting to see how EA answered the Aguero vs. Ibrahimovic debate, and now we have our answer.

4. Thibaut Courtois (Chelsea) - 89

Hazard’s teammate shares his rating of 89. For a goalkeeper with bags of potential, this feels right.

3. Eden Hazard (Chelsea) - 89

Despite a troubled 2015-16 season, Hazard is considered the joint third-best player in the Premier League. If he can return to the level that saw him receive Player of the Year honours in 2014-15, then the Chelsea man could be even higher in next year’s edition.

2. Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Manchester United) - 90
