From the recently sports news, Chelsea are set to move for Shakhtar Donetsk star Alex Teixeira in the January transfer window with the Brazilian keen to push a move through. Alex Teixeira is only 25 years old, but he has averaged a goal every 62 minutes so far this season, with 16 goals in his first 11 games in the Ukrainian Premier League – more than free-scoring Robert Lewandowski has managed in the Bundesliga with Bayern Munich.

Teixeira had told the Ukrainian reporters that he has had an offer from Chelsea. Which also made him very happy.

Teixerira’ transfer rumours also makes British soccer fans full of expectation. Not only for the future performance in the Barclays Premier League, but also for the ratings and attributes in FIFA 16.

There is no doubt that Alex Teixeira is a stand-out central attacking midfielder in FIFA 16. Especially in 4-2-3-1 side. He is not only agile, good on the ball and a decent enough passer, but also strong, pacey and a nice short and long distance shooter.

Teixerira has also been slected to TOTW 6 last week because of his good performance. And from the rating in last TOTW Cards, wo can see Teixerira has a very nearly 70+ in all positions (GK excluded). It means that he can play anywhere even in defence(he has 70 defense). He is really a potential player in FIFA 16.

Teixerira now is not much expensive in FIFA 16 Ultimate Team, nearly 10 thousand or more. But it’s hard to find a more all-round midfielder/attacker in such a low price than Teixeira. You can say he's not the best header, but that's the only con I can think of.
