In the team of the season, the best players of the season 2016/2017 from all leagues were honored with extremely strong blue special cards. To conclude, there is a selection of the best of all the leagues in the EA TOTS.

In the last team of the season of FIFA 17 there is not a single player with a lower rating of 91. The absolute highlights, however, are Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, who both come on an "in-form" rating of 99, followed by 98 Robert Lewandowski, 98 Eden Hazard, 97 Luis Suarez and 97 Manuel Neuer.  Real Madrid is the biggest winner with the most 4 players selected into the team.
